"What Kind of Man" is a song by English indie rock band Florence and the Machine, written by Florence Welch and Kid Harpoon, and produced by Markus Dravs. On 12 February 2015, it was released as the lead single from the band's upcoming third studio album, How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful. A music video for the song was directed by Vincent Haycock and choreographed by Ryan Heffington, and premiered the same day. "What Kind of Man" is a blues-pop song. Vulture's Dee Lockett called it a "fiery rocker."
